In order for a child under 4 to be baptised at St Dominic's, one of the parents or guardians of the child must be a Catholic who is prepared to bring the child to Sunday Mass. If you do not live in the parish you must get the permission of the parish priest where you live. Parents or Guardians must see the parish priest so he can ensure that they understand the meaning of baptism and the responsibilities which they are undertaking in having their child baptised. The normal time for this meeting is at 3:30pm on the third Sunday of each month in the Priory. Baptisms usually take place at 1:30pm on Sundays.
